Garena has officially launched its latest crossover for Free Fire, the free-to-play survival shooter, bringing content from the anime GINTAMA into the game starting April 27.

The collaboration introduces a range of themed items based on key characters, including Gintoki Sakata, Kagura, and Elizabeth. Players can obtain these through a mix of in-game events, draws, and limited-time reward systems. As with previous events, content will be staggered to allow players more time to grab the freebies. The new items and bundles will become available over the duration of the event.

Beyond character outfits, the update includes additional cosmetics and event-specific content designed around GINTAMA’s style. This covers animations, collectibles, and other in-game elements that tie into the crossover, giving players multiple ways to engage with the event aside from just unlocking skins.

This limited-time collab is available starting today, and throughout the crossover period, the two-storey Yorozuya building will appear across all Free Fire maps in Battle Royale mode. There, players can enter and enjoy an experience that’s straight out of the anime. Plus, a Yorozuya-themed Gloo Wall will be available for purchase. Unlike the building, which will be on the maps only for a limited time, the Gloo Wall will be there even after the event ends.

FEATURED STORIES

What’s more, players can unlock bundles featuring Gintoki and Kagura in both their original GINTAMA and Mr. Ginpachi’s Zany Class forms, alongside Elizabeth’s unmistakably deadpan mascot look. The wearable lineup also includes Gintoki’s pink strawberry underwear, Sogo Okita’s eye mask, and Shinpachi Shimura’s iconic glasses.

The Free Fire x GINTAMA crossover adds to its already stellar history with other IPs like Attack on Titan, Naruto, and Jujutsu Kaisen. Apart from anime collaborations, Free Fire has also done an event with Netflix’s Squid Game.

The event is now live and available to players across supported regions and will run till May 7, 2026.
