Where Winds Meet features homestead, dynamic pets in next update
MANILA, Philippines – Where Winds Meet announced a customizable homestead system and new dynamic pets for its upcoming Version 1.8 update releasing on June 25.
Homestead system
Players will now be able to build their homes in Qinghe and unlock management and creative design features.
Within the homestead, players can construct inns, farm, trade, or brew wine. They can also recruit local villagers to become estate workers.

Homestead activities will be available to earn currency redeemable in the Homestead Shop for rewards.
In July, an update will allow players to showcase their designs.
Dynamic pet system
Cats and geese are the latest companions in this Where Winds Meet update.
Maverick, Scar, and Pudding will debut on release while Goldie the goose in week two.

These dynamic pets will react to weather changes and world events. Additionally, players can also dress and play with their companions.
A pet battle system will be introduced in future updates.
Upcoming events
Day one events include the Martial Path Domain, a 20-floor challenge designed for a five-player team above level 60.
A PVPvE mode, Tomb Raiders, will also be available during the update where event points can be accumulated and exchanged for items and a rare purple mount.
Where Winds Meet is a free-to-play, open world ARPG developed by Everstone Studio and published by NetEase Games.
