Ring lets wearer ‘feel’ spouse’s heartbeat

Startup company TheTouch has modeled HB Ring, which lets couples feel each other’s heartbeats with a tap of its exterior casing.

Just simply double-tap the ring and the wearer can feel his or her partner’s heartbeat by flashing a red color. The ring is knotted to an app available for both iOS and Android and connects to Bluetooth.

Also, the trendy jewelry has 14 hours of battery life and 160 hours of standby time, Huffington Post reported. The HB ring’s package box is equipped with a wireless charger as well.

The product comes in three exciting variants: a ring ornamented with 18K rose gold with sapphire crystal, a rose gold ring and a black ring. Six different sizes are up for grabs: 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 millimeters.

The magnificent prototype, which will be distributed in a pair, comes with a costly price tag. The 18K rose gold ring cost $2,990 (P139,000) and will start shipping in November.
