Globe, DepEd host second E-skwela webinar

Webinar to discuss the demand for the right tools and techniques to utilize digital learning amid the COVID-19 crisis
03:03 PM April 20, 2020

With the extension of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in Luzon to April 30, normal school operations continue to be closed and disrupted, making many schoolchildren and the youth, along with their parents and families, feel the impact of semi-isolation.

The pandemic is challenging educational institutions that are in varying stages of developing and implementing their online learning capabilities. One of the urgent plays for the education industry is to create the demand for schools to onboard their teachers and their institutions with the right tools and techniques in maximizing and utilizing digital learning while they stay connected, informed and #SafeAtHome.

Globe myBusiness, in partnership with DepEd, continues to advocate the adoption of technology to create future-ready schools and educational institutions. Among the information and communications (ICT) services that the telco has pushed for are high-quality connection, automated school administration tools, and advanced learning management systems (LMS). Besides easing school operations and facilitating digital learning, ICT will also prepare students to be globally competitive now and in their future ventures.
