KOEI Tecmo Games has released the latest gameplay video for the upcoming game adaptation of the Berserk series, “Berserk and the Band of the Hawk” (Berserk Musou) from Omega Force.

The new video features the character Wyald’s different attack moves, as well as his apostle form. KOEI Tecmo Games also previously released feature videos for the game’s other playable characters, namely Guts (Guts in Berserker Armor), Casca, Griffith, Shierke, Zodd, Judeau and Serpico. Users will also be able to play Griffith in Femto form, reports Anime News Network.

“Berserk and the Band of the Hawk” is scheduled for release in October in Japan for the PS3, PS4 and PS Vita. A North American release is scheduled for Feb. 21 while Europe will get its turn on Feb. 24. Apart from the PlayStation consoles, the game will also be available for the PC via Steam. Producer Hisashi Koinuma mentioned in an E3 interview that they were “looking into” an Xbox One release in America, as well as a Steam release in Japan.

The game’s first edition will include a code for a special “bathing” costume for Casca. There will also be other bonuses for the Japanese release based on the retailer such as different costumes, keychains and microfiber cloths.

In order to ease non-fans of the franchise into Berserk’s extensive lore, the game will cover the very beginning of the series up to the arc of the recently concluded anime. Oddly enough, a gist of the series’ different arcs can be read over at the game’s English website.  Alfred Bayle
