Tobleron is one of those chocolate brands that almost everybody knows. It’s even a standard item in “balikbayan” boxes. But a recent change has left UK fans rather upset.

This is due to the recent change that the company behind the beloved triangular chocolate bar made, which has spaces between each triangle widened by a large degree, reports The Telegraph.

In fact, the gap is wide enough to fit another triangle in the space. The reason for the change as stated by the company is the rising cost of ingredients, denying it to be a side effect of Brexit.

While some fans lauded Toblerone for at least making the change known to the public, many more are finding it “stupid,” saying that simply shortening the bar would have sufficed.

In a twist of irony, a few Twitter users pointed out that UK news readers appeared to be more concerned with the new Toblerone shape than the US elections.  Alfred Bayle
