A waste of time, money and energy was the general theme of netizens’ reaction to the privilege speech of Senate Minority Leader Juan Ponce Enrile, who lambasted an “obsessive hater,” supposedly Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago, on Wednesday.

Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile’s Christmas cash gift of almost P30 million to his fellow senators rubbed Filipino netizens the wrong way, with some critics describing it as “suspicious” and “unethical.”
