You will first notice that Arc Browser has the address bar and tabs on a sidebar. You enter the URL in the top left-hand corner and view the opened tabs below.

FEATURED STORIES

The sidebar features Today Tabs, Arc’s version of the ordinary tabs found in other browsers. Yet, they stand out because you can assign a time when they will automatically close.

You could save important tabs as Pinned Tabs or place them as Favorites for easy access. Moreover, you may organize tabs into Folders or include them in Spaces.

Moreover, Arc Browser has Easels. The feature’s name originated from the wooden frames holding white canvasses in painting studios.

Similarly, Easels promote creativity by letting you take snippets of webpages and draw shapes on a white background.

They help you make a collage or idea board that could facilitate note-taking. Other apps have similar features to Arc Browser.

Yet, having them built into a web browser can improve user experience. Moreover, you can personalize the appearance of your Arc Browser by choosing solid colors or gradients.

More importantly, Arc Browser lets you tweak its functions with Boosts. You can change the style of the page, replace content, insert your code, or implement a unique feature.

You will need to know CSS and JavaScript to use the feature. Fortunately, you can start by learning Python from free online resources.

Conclusion

The Browser Company promises to bring Arc Browser to Windows PCs. In the meantime, you will need a Mac to try this app.

It built the program with Google Chromium, enabling users to transfer Chrome data to Arc easily. The app is a good choice if you want a more personalized browsing experience.
