Wired interviewed her recently, then multiple sources like Daily Mail shared her testimonial. Specifically, Boucher expressed her opinions regarding her partner’s proposed match against Mark Zuckerberg.

She told the news outlet the cage match would push through, but the winner is unclear. She said, “Elon is very strong, but Zuck seems like he’s been training a ton.”

Initially, the music artist didn’t want the fight to occur, stating, “I would prefer that it didn’t happen.” She added, “I love gladiatorial matches, but watching the father of your children in a physical fight is not the most pleasant feeling.”

Later, she changed her mind, saying, “But it’s not going to cause brain damage, so actually, I think this is good. Dudes need some outlet for trad masculinity. I actually think it’s making them respect each other more.”

“Trad masculinity” refers to traditionally masculine traits and behaviors. Nowadays, it is a prevalent issue in the United States as it increasingly becomes more inclusive for the LGBTQ+ community.

Surprisingly, Grimes claimed she’s the mastermind behind Elon Musk’s tweet challenging Mark Zuckerberg to a dick-measuring contest. On July 10, 2023, the SpaceX CEO posted that tweet while posting negative comments against the Meta CEO.

“I’m going to take credit for that one,” Musk’s partner said. “I was like, ‘Why don’t your cut to the chase and get out a ruler?’ I didn’t think he was going to tweet it.”

Mark Zuckerberg stated he proposed August 26 as the showdown’s date, but he is not “holding his breath” over it. Meanwhile, Musk said the “exact date is still in flux” before saying he might need surgery.

Who is Grimes?

Entertainment news outlet People said Claire “Grimes” Boucher started dating the SpaceX CEO after sharing flirty messages on Twitter (now X) in April 2018. Later, they made their red carpet debut at the Met Gala.

An alleged source said, “They’ve been seeing each other but have kept their relationship under the radar.” In August 2018, they unfollowed each other on social media, fueling speculation they separated.

In January 2020, Grimes announced her pregnancy and confirmed the Tesla CEO was the baby’s father. “It’s sacrificing your body and your freedom. It’s a pretty crazy sacrifice, and only half of the population has to do it,” she said in an interview.

Vanity Fair published a story about the two getting back together before they changed their relationship together. Grimes tweeted, “Me and E have broken up again since the writing of this article.”

“He’s my best friend and the love of my life, and my life and art are forever dedicated to The Mission now. I think Devin [Gordon of Vanity Fair] wrote that part of the story really well. Sique – peace out.”

Conclusion

Elon Musk’s partner Grimes initially rejected the Mark Zuckerberg match because she couldn’t bear to see the dad of her kids fighting. Yet, she changed her mind after realizing it could be an “outlet for trad masculinity.”

The Meta CEO has also been preparing for the fight with UFC training. He recently built an octagon in his backyard for practice, disappointing his wife, Priscilla Chan.
