Graphic content usually comes with a “do not try this at home” disclaimer, and this trending video should certainly have had one.

A 34-second clip of a woman from China who attempted the famed “Corn Cob Challenge” has gone viral, after it showed her failing miserably and getting an unwanted haircut in the process.

The trend, made famous by food blogger, Eater Yang, prods challengers to devour a corn skewered in an operational drill, while it spins around in full speed.

Unfortunately for the girl, the revolving metal got stuck on her scalp midway through the challenge, which ripped a chunk of her hair resulting into a very noticeable bald spot in front of her head.

However, the woman was seen visiting a doctor later in the video, who told her the hair will grow back in time.

Chinese netizens have been known to take part in various unusual social media challenges, usually stemming from Weibo.
