LOOK: Rescue dog ‘comforts’ tortured dog in adorable viral posts

“We are in this together.”

This is what two dogs seem to be telling each other in photos and video posts that have brought tears to thousands of social media users.

The photos posted by Rescue Dogs Rock NYC’s Facebook page show Simon, a rescue dog who was once a hapless victim of abuse, comforting his four-month-old pal, Sammie.

Sammie was a stray dog in Kershaw County, South Carolina, United States, after he was shot in the head, dragged behind a car, and spray-painted by his former lady owner. In the few weeks of intensive care under the Paws and Claws Animal Clinic, the jolly dog is showing signs of speedy recovery as shown in a video post.

Since then, the two canine pups were inseparable.

The animal clinic is knocking on kind-hearted people who can donate for Sammie and other injured animals under their tutelage. Gianna Francesca Catolico
