WATCH: Man runs Android on iPhone

/ 03:05 PM June 08, 2016

Nick Lee, chief technology officer of development studio Tendigi who managed to run Windows 95 on an Apple Watch, has picked up on a new project where he runs Android OS on an iPhone using a custom-built case. He uses a Nexus 5 as a reference device and an 8-core 64-bit ARM Cortex-A53 processor.

According to a report on 9TO5Mac, Lee essentially created an app for the iPhone that would communicate with his DIY case through the Lightning port. This in turn would allow the iPhone to boot into Android.

While the amalgamated device is far from being sleek, it does come with an SD card opening, as well as USB and HDMI ports. Alfred Bayle
