True to its promise of opening up the platform to a multitude of users, Twitter is launching Moments curation feature, which would support  an earlier update introduced last year.

The micro-blogging site announced via tweet the launch of a new feature that allows users to collate their own personalized moments, based on the collection of tweets connected by a common subject in the app’s web client.

Twitter displayed the new feature through an instructional video on Thursday, teaching users how to create the customized moments, which collect data from multiple accounts who are also tweeting about the subject.

By using a complex algorithm, any particular content will appear, even if the user doesn’t follow the other accounts.

In the meantime, the feature is only available in Twitter’s desktop format, but it will soon come to mobile apps as well.

The famed social media platform had trouble introducing the Moments feature during its debut last year, which also contributed to the company’s stock price drop at a near all-time lows in 2016.

The company, however, has received a spike in engagement recently amid market speculation that some major companies—namely Disney, Google and Salesforce—are in line to possibly acquire the multibillion-dollar company.  Khristian Ibarrola
