On ‘secret’ Marcos burial, netizens made sure their feelings were heard
As soon as word got out that the remains of ousted authoritarian President Ferdinand Marcos were sneaked into the grounds of Libingan ng mga Bayani, the hashtags #MarcosNOTaHero and #MarcosBurial filled social media. One columnist’s tweet chiding millennials with “You weren’t even born yet” easily became fuel to the fire. Here are a few of those tweets.
