Tesla introduces sleek new solar panel design

Solar power is steadily being utilized around the world for large power plants, as well as in private homes. However, for homes, solar panels on a roof can sometimes be a little unsightly.

Tesla has come up with a solution by making panels sleeker and less obtrusive. Production for these solar panels will begin in summer and will be made by Panasonic, reports Engadget.

Tesla is now taking requests for custom price quotes. Apart from a more streamlined solar energy collecting roof, this solution is an alternative to the company’s solar tiles. Instead of having to reconstruct the entire roof to install solar tiles, homeowners can choose these panels and still have a clean-looking roof.
