The PS4 Slim was initially released back in September 2016 with only 500GB of storage capacity. It was priced at $299.99 (almost P15,000).

It’s direct competition, the Xbox One S, starts at $249 (around P12,000) for a basic package that has 500GB of storage. At $299 (almost P15,000), customers can get a game bundled with the 500GB unit.

For gamers looking for a more powerful system capable of handling 4K resolution content, Sony is offering the PS4 Pro which is priced at $399.99 (almost P20,000).

This new offering is a good deal for those who are just about to pick up a PlayStation 4. For existing owners, swapping out the built-in hard drive with a faster or more spacious one remains an option. JB
