Sony to offer price cuts for PS4—report
Sony’s Playstation 4 has been lording it over its console competitors as of late, and it has no plans of slowing down anytime soon.
After selling over 60 million units worldwide, the gaming giant is looking to treat gamers by offering price cuts to the most sought-after console.

Sony earlier revealed its plans to sell another 18 million units within a year—a target which is highly attainable, Pachter said. “Yes, if they price the PS4 correctly, they can sell another 18 million, and I think the forecast suggests that there is a price cut coming.”
Currently, the most basic Playstation 4 slim with a 500GB hard drive retails at around $300 (P15,000). Pachter notes that Sony’s high-end variation, the PS4 Pro, will also receive price cuts from its original $399.99 (P20,000) price.
