A new character will be included in the upcoming manga and anime-inspired video game “Dragon Ball FighterZ.” This time, it won’t be a new saiyan.
According to game news outlet Shonen Gamez, Bandai Namco revealed on the September issue of Japanese video game magazine V-Jump that “Android 21” will be joining the existing roster of super-powered androids in the Dragon Ball universe.

Apparently, Android 21 will play a role in the game’s main story and ties up with the character Android 16. Android 21 was reported to be highly intellectual and up to par with the creator of the androids, Dr. Gero.
On the other hand, the report did not mention whether Android 21 will be a playable character.
Scans of the magazine showed Android 21’s character design to be somewhat distinct compared with other androids. She has long, wild auburn hair and wears a serious look in her eyes. She wears a short one-piece dress, sporting a large checkered pattern of blue-green and red, which matches her alternately colored shoes. Charcoal black arm warmers and leggings complement the look. Android 21 also wears rectangular black-rimmed glasses and large gold circular earrings.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is now available for pre-order at $59.88 (about P3,000) and will be released on February 2018 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Alfred Bayle/JB
