Big new promos for “Red Dead Redemption 2” and the World Cup update for “FIFA 18”, a visit to Monaco for mobile favorite “Subway Surfers”, a struggle to assemble a piece of Scandinavian flat-pack furniture ahead of “Conan Exiles”, and the gorgeously visualized “Beacon” were among the clutch of video game trailers for the week ending May 5, 2018.

Action game “Conan Exiles” launches May 8 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox, focusing on surviving, dominating and building within a barbaric world. Each element has been the subject of a light-hearted skit, the last of them putting the long-haired, kilt-wearing muscle man up against a set of self-assembly furniture particularly suited to his tastes.
Subway Surfers Monaco update

FIFA 2018 World Cup Russia reveal trailer
With Cristiano Ronaldo still in place as the soccer sim’s global ambassador, Electronic Arts presents its May 29 free update for console and computer editions of “FIFA 18” as a fantasy for fans and participating athletes alike. June 6 on “FIFA Mobile”.
Beacon First Access trailer
Crash landed on a strikingly depicted enemy planet, search six distinct biomes for equipment and powerful genetic alterations in order to escape intact; or, at least, as a clone of yourself. Available now on Itch.io in limited numbers for Windows PC users, with plans to bring the game to Steam, Xbox One and other platforms. JB
