A Japanese baby with a luxurious mop of hair has amassed over 100,000 followers on Instagram.
Born in December 2017, the parents of baby Chanco created an Instagram account and labeled it “hair diary.” Before long, the 7-month-old baby’s account has amassed over 114,000 followers as of this writing. Each post has also garnered an average of 10,000 likes.

The account generally features baby Chanco’s hair in various arrangements and conditions. Videos occasionally pop up, focused on little Chanco just being her cute self.
The latest update, which was uploaded on July 23, showed Chanco getting her hair styled by a professional. While babies would sometimes make a fuss when getting a haircut, little Chanco appeared to be having fun. It probably helped that she had someone to play with while the stylist did his job.
The sudden increase in attention can be considered surprising given that the account just celebrated getting 10,000 followers on June 26. In just one month baby Chanco’s cuteness multiplied the number by 10. With such an adorable smile, and her impressive mane, it’s hard not to fall for Chanco’s charms. /ra
