SM Supermalls celebrates Cyber Month with exciting gaming activities and exclusive tech deals

Get ready as SM transforms their malls into a larger-than-life e-sports arena featuring multi-game tournaments and gadget deals.

The game is on this Cyber Month as SM Supermalls kicks off a month-long celebration of tech innovations and the latest gadget trends, with exclusive tech deals and gaming events happening in 72 SM malls nationwide!

Last August 2, #SMCyberMonth2019 was officially launched at the SM City North EDSA, Cyberzone Activity Area. Tech geeks, gamers and gaming enthusiasts were treated to fun activities, freebies, and exciting deals from PLDT, Smart, Acer, Vivo, Kumu, Philips, and Speed Magazine.

Key representatives from these partner brands shared some of the latest innovations in tech and presented some of the Cyber Month promos that they offer. For Cyber Month, PLDT offers awesome packages for new and existing subscribers of PLDT Home WiFi and Fibr. Vivo provides a special discount on selected models of Y91i, Y91 3GB, and Y85, with PHP 2,000 off the price and freebies to take home with. Meanwhile, people can get a limited Spiderman Far From Home freebies for every purchase of the latest computer gaming monitors from Philipps. 

Smart encourages people to pursue their passion through Free YouTube For All promo and “be game to be great” with Giga Games bundles to help them be #WatchYouWantToBe. 


Attendees were able to enjoy booth displays from Acer featuring their latest gaming laptop Acer Predator, as well as try the Predator Thronos an All-in-One Gaming Chair and gaming desktop the Predator Orion 5000. Kids and adults engaged in an epic battle for the Tekken 7 Tournament, where Acer Predator items and merch are up for prizes. 

People were also game to join the “May Tama Ka” quiz of Kumu, a live streaming app where people can connect, build their network, and earn money through live streaming and joining game shows. 

Aside from the exciting booths, here are five ways to experience an action-packed Cyber Month at SM:
