MANILA, Philippines — A netizen went to a studio to simply get his photo taken, but was met with a surprise when it also “took” his left ear.

Hassim Elias Aragasi took to social media to ask a photo studio to “bring back” his ear after it disappeared in an identification card picture.

“Shoutout po sa isang photo studio dito sa Cotabato, pakibalik po yung TENGA ko. As far as I remember, pagpasok ko po sa studio kompleto pa tenga ko!” Aragasi wrote in a Facebook post last Sept. 17.

And it seemed like the photo studio heard Aragasi’s plea as he shared a few hours after his original post that his ear “has been returned.”

“Update! Update! As of 5:30pm. Nabalik na po yung tenga ko. ALHAMDULILLAH,” Aragasi wrote.

Aragasi said he checked the photo before leaving the studio but noticed something was off with his face shape, urging him to request having the photo edited again.

“Kasi chineck ko man muna before ako umalis sa studio tapos napansin ko na may iba sa shape ng mukha ko. Pagtitig ko wala akong tenga, kaya yun, pinagalitan ko yung nag edit. Tapos habang nagagalit ako, sobra na tawa nung kaibigan ko sa likod kaya yun nakitawa nalang ako,” Aragasi told INQUIRER.net Friday via Facebook Messenger.

Aragasi’s experience caught the attention of netizens as his post garnered over 13,000 likes and 13,000 shares, as of writing. /jpv
