That plan also lets you save footage via cloud storage for 180 days. The Cam plugs into your vehicle’s battery with its OBD-II port and blends with your dashboard.

More importantly, the Ring Car Cam protects privacy by flashing an LED light whenever it is recording. As a result, you do not have to worry about it capturing footage without your permission.

Ring Protect Go also offers end-to-end video encryption to secure your recordings. It costs $6 monthly or $60 annually.

Conclusion

Amazon will offer its first car security solution named the Ring Car Cam. At the time of writing, only customers in the United States can preorder the product.
