What are the Google AI features?
Inquirer Tech has been reporting about Google AI features since 2023. AI Overviews are the most frequently discussed search upgrade.
AI Overviews compiles information from top online searches so that users quickly get the information they need.

You may scroll down to view relevant products and websites. Also, Overviews are an educational Google AI feature because they can explain concepts.
They let you adjust online information with three modes Original, Simpler, or Break It Down. For example, you’re asking the difference between thunder and lightning.
The former shows the untouched version. Simpler explains these meteorological phenomena in layman’s terms, and Break it down provides a more detailed explanation.
Google AI search can also handle more complicated questions. For example, the official Google page shares this example:
“Find the best yoga or pilates studios in Boston and show me details on their intro offers and walking time from Beacon Hill.”
Google AI can help you plan various things, such as your meal plan. Search, “Create a 3-day meal plan for a group that’s easy to prepare,” and it will provide various recipes.
However, arguably one of the most surprising Google AI features is video search. You may take a video and talk over it to explain your query.
For example, your toilet keeps overflowing even though you’ve closed its gate valve. You may record a video of the faulty throne and ask the AI why it keeps filling with too much water.
In response, Google will give you more specific tips. As mentioned, the search engine firm rolled out the features in the United States, but it will release it to other countries.
