Makeup transformation craze getting creative, appalling

MANILA, Philippines – The hashtag #makeuptransformation just got better.

After  netizens got to choose their favorite celebrities or movie characters where they could transform  into someone they want to be in four photos, some added more humor to it by creating makeup transformation for celebrities.

For one, Senate President Franklin Drilon became political activist Mae Paner known as Juana Change.

Another transformation showed comedian Ramon Bautista into a shrimp.

He recently drew the ire of citizens of Davao City after the joke he dished out about “hipon” or shrimp at the Kadayawan Festival last Saturday, Aug. 16.

“Hipon” or shrimp is a colloquial term for a person who is only attractive from the neck down.

Posts were initially on multi-panel transformations of netizens putting makeup and then the look they want to achieve on the last panel. Fans posted transformations of their idols, but even celebrities joined the fad to create their own. Below are some examples:
