“CARROT MAN” became the latest Internet sensation after his charm and looks captivated the hearts of netizens.
But he is neither a superhero nor a celebrity. He is an Igorot guy from the Cordillera.
Bakeshop owner Edwina T. Bandong first noticed about carrot man while she and her friends were on their way to Sagada.
Bandong shared on her Facebook account some photos of “carrot man” who was seen carrying a basket of carrots.
On Tuesday, carrot man became a trending topic on Twitter.
He was later identified by netizens as Jeyrick Sigmaton.
According to his Facebook account, Sigmaton hails from Kadaclan, Mountain province.
Many netizens observed that Sigmaton has a resemblance with South Korean superstar Jang Geun Suk and Taiwanese actor Vic Zhou.
