Within hours of Trump’s victory, some social media users were already looking ahead and endorsing another potential first female president—outgoing first lady Michelle Obama.

Michelle, who’s considered as one of the most influential women of this era, is believed to have a chance of winning the election for the Democrats in 2020.

Netizens voiced their opinions on Twitter with the hashtag  #Michelle2020 in hopes she would “save” the US from the newly elected President.

Some tweets varied from simple jests, while others expressed their full-on support as a tonic to Trump’s impending term.
