Pope Francis blesses the faithful in Sri Lanka, PH, in 6th tweet in Filipino

MANILA, Philippines – Five hours after Pope Francis left the Philippines for Rome on Monday his official Twitter account posted his sixth tweet in Filipino, this time blessing the devotees in Sri Lanka and the Philippines and asking them to continue praying for him.
The tweet was posted at 3:25 p.m., about more than five hours after he went onboard a Philippine Airlines Airbus (PAL) Flight PR 8010, which also marks the airline’s inaugural direct flight to Rome.

“Sa aking mga kaibigan sa Sri Lanka at Pilipinas: Naway pagpalain kayo ng Diyos. Sana´y patuloy niyo akong ipagdasal,” @Pontifex tweeted. “To my friends in Sri Lanka and the Philippines: May God bless you all! Please pray for me,” the tweet read in English.
The official Twitter account of the Pope has more than five million followers.
@Pontifex tweeted five other times in Filipino while in the Philippines.
In his first tweet, the Pope lauded the Philippines as witnesses to the “youthfulness and vitality of the Church.”
