Librarians told: Go digital

THE ASSOCIATION of Special Libraries of the Philippines has urged librarians, library administrators, archivists and other information providers to attend the seminar, “Digital Assets in our Midst: Positioning Information Providers in the Knowledge Management Environment” to be held on March 30 to April 1, 2016, at San Antonio Resort, Lawis Baybay, Roxas City.

The seminar will showcase methods and techniques in handling digital assets from creation up to preservation including security and privacy solutions. It also includes actual application using proprietary and open source software. The main objective of the seminar is to deepen the understanding of information providers on basic knowledge management practices.

Also invited to attend the seminar are library support staff, teachers and students of Library and Information Science, consultants, researchers and others involve information providers. Seminar registration fees cover kit, 3 days and 2 nights’ accommodation, meals and certificates of participation/appearance.
