MANILA, Philippines -- The Ateneo Center for Organization Research (Ateneo CORD) and Blueblade Technologies Inc., also based in Ateneo de Manila University, have recently launched an online training program for Filipino professionals.
Designed to address the learning needs of Filipino workers, the Ateneo CORD is now offering its training programs online to anyone interested, said Coni Cruz, product officer of Blueblade Technologies.
Blueblade is part of the Ateneo Java Wireless Competency Center, which incubates technology startups, and is an affiliate company of the Ateneo De Manila University, she said.
Cruz said that the online courses have been offered to private companies. The launch will open up the e-learning system to the public.
Initial online programs that will be offered are management courses on sales, marketing, finance, operations and general management intended for April 2008, the company said. The online program will provide different content including text, graphics, sound, animation, games and interactive simulations. Each course is divided into modules which are designed to be completed in short periods of 1 to 2 hours, and will be handled by teachers and facilitators from Ateneo.
