Link gets a breath of fresh air in new Legend of Zelda game
It seems that Crash Bandicoot is not the only one getting some renewed love. Nintendo has revealed that beloved franchise Zelda will be getting a new game called Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the Wii U and Nintendo NX.
Link continues to be the main protagonist of the game. According to The Verge, the game will retain many elements from previous Zelda games such as pot throwing and puzzle solving while introducing new features previously unheard of in a Zelda title.

Similar to titles like Skyrim, Hyrule is now presented as a massive open landscape filled with monsters, puzzles, and of course, a bounty of usable items. This includes food for replenishing health. No more hearts in the grass.
The new open world also grants Link new ways of getting around such as climbing walls, sprinting, and jumping over obstacles.
Based on the E3 demo, quests appear to be non-linear. However, no details have been revealed yet as to how they can be acquired.
