LOOK: iPhone 7s dummy unit photos leaked, shows glass back
Photos of the upcoming refresh of the iPhone 7s have leaked online, showing a glass back, with hints at wireless charging capabilities.
Apple tipster Sonny Dickson reportedly sent in photos of a new iPhone 7s dummy unit to Apple news outlet 9to5Mac. The dummy unit appeared to have a glass back while retaining the form factor of the existing iPhone 7s.
Wireless inductive charging is also believed to be one of its main features. The report further points out that a glass back allows for better implementation of inductive charging, because a traditional aluminum back caused problems for the technology.

On the other hand, this wireless charging feature may not yet be active upon release, but will be activated in a future iOS update.
Other features expected to come with the new iPhone 7s and 7s Plus are new A11 processors for better performance and an internal storage bump to 64 gigabytes for a base model.
